Transportation and venue

The conference will take place in the center of Bordeaux and the exact adress is: PJJ Univ of Bordeaux, 35 Place Pey berland, Bordeaux (located just at the corner between "place Pey Berland" and "rue du commandant Arnould").

This is an old stone building with large blue & black signs "University of Bordeaux", just on the side of the cathedral St André. The nearest tramway station is "Hotel de Ville" (tram A or B).

Bordeaux has an international airport (Merignac Airport) that allows easy access to the conference site. From the airport, the center of bordeaux can be accessed via Bus (cheapest but longest option), Shuttle or Taxi.

For Bus take the Liane n° 1 (terminus merignac airport), this line goes downtown and you can stop at "Gambetta" that is within walking distance to the conference location. You can also commute from the bus to the tramway (line A for downtown bordeaux, direction Floirac - La Gardette) at the station "Merignac centre" and stop at "Hotel de ville".

For bus or tramway, you can use the same ticket (TBC tickets) that are valid for one hour. A ticket costs 1.5 € per trip (valid one hour) but you can also buy a 7 days pass for 13.20 € or 10 regular tickets for 12.40 €.

The shuttle can drive you from the airport to the train station in 20 - 30 minutes (more expensive than the bus).

It is also possible to arrive in Bordeaux by train (3 to 4 hours from paris). From the train station, the tramway can drive you downtown quickly: line C, direction "Les aubiers" and change at "Porte de Bourgogne" to commute for the Tram A (direction Le Haillan) or at "Quinconces" for the tram B (direction pessac).
